I grew up in Marquette, Iowa in NE part of the state, my husband is Mark, who is a Mechanical Engineer with Lennox Industries.  Our daughter Katherine is an ISU graduate and is the Agriculture teacher and FFA advisor at West Lyon High School in Inwood, Iowa.  Our son Ben is also an ISU graduate in Mechanical Engineering and just started a job with Control Installations of Iowa in Des Moines.   Animals have always been a big part of my life.  We had German Shorthaired Pointers, and enjoyed competing in Hunt Tests, Field Trials, Obedience, Agility, and Bench Shows.  We were active with GSP Breed Rescue for 8 years.  I taught obedience classes for 3 years.  When you have a chance to visit the clinic here, ask me about my T.V. star dogs.  Our family pets include the cats Tippy and Simba and a handful of sheep.

I grew up in Marshalltown where I met my husband, Beau.  Today we make our home in Melbourne.  We have 2 daughters: Hanna, who is studying Horticulture at Des Moines Area Community College, and Dessa, who is in 8th grade at West Marshall.  Our family pets are all from local rescue organizations.  Daisy is a Staffordshire/American Bulldog mix, and the cats are Oliver, who has 7 toes, and Eggsy, who is a tuxedo, very fancy.  They came as a pair, adopt one, get one free.  I am happy to be extending my involvement with animals here at Central Veterinary Services.  See you soon!!!
